I was one of the wealth management industry professionals interviewed for this article in which I briefly reviewed the key elements to consider if an MFDA Advisor is seeking to migrate their practice to an IIROC platform as well as the types of investment solutions needed to effectively service affluent & high net worth families.
Having worked in MFDA, IIROC & Investment Counselling/Portfolio Management firms, I believe that the right decision for an Advisor really depends upon the range of solutions that they’re looking to deliver to their clients, which is ultimately determined by the end investor client needs.
